Hi Guys,

Hope you are all enjoying the pre-season training and are getting ready for our first game which is next Sunday the 30th of March at Gaelic Park, Bowhill Road, Willawong.

Please find attached a copy of the draw for the Brisbane Shield portion of the season.

Our First game is at 3.30pm against Souths. Our first day of the competition is also Easts turn to do canteen duty. This is done on a roster basis and each club is required to do canteen duty once every 6 weeks. If we all do our bit we only have to do an hour each.

Each week we also are required to provide 3 officials for a game other than our own (in return someone else officials our game) This consists of 1 linesperson and 2 goal umpires.

I have also included 2 water runners for the girls and the girls will provide 2 water runners for us (it gets pretty hot out there!)

Registration Forms and GAA and QGFA Payment.

Also attached is the Registration and Transfer Form. Everyone is required to fill out a Registration form before they take the field next Sunday. Anyone who has played for a club overseas is required to fill out the transfer form also. (failure to do this can result in being suspended to play when you return to Ireland - these rules are put in place by the authorities at Croke Park). Please print these forms off and hand them to me on Wednesday night at training or at the latest next Sunday prior to taking the field.

Before you take the field a payment of $40 towards your annual fees of $180 is also required.

You can make your payment to me on Wednesday night also when you hand in your registration forms.

Have a fantastic Easter break, and we'll see you at Training 6.30pm next Wednesday so you can run off all those easter eggs in time for our first big game of the season.
