Easts Celts Gaelic Football Club -
Update Monday, 20 March 2006
Hi Everyone,
Sports Day Winners I hope you all enjoyed the St Patricks Day festivities and the Sports Day yesterday at Willawong. Despite just missing out on the Gaelic finals, we still managed to "WIN" the Sports Day overall. Well done to everyone for the first official trophy for the year! Before we kick off the season there are a few important details as outlined below. Games This Sunday the 26th of March. The game times this weekend are: Ladies 12.45pm vs Sarsfields Mens 2.00pm vs Sarsfields. Officials are also required for two additional games, I have incorporated this into the Kitchen Roster for this weekend. Coaches/Managers can you please go over the Official Duties requirements at training this Wednesday. Please find attached a copy of the full QGFA Draw. We are also on Kitchen Duty for the first round. I have done up a copy of the roster for the day. We are only required to do Kitchen approximately 4 times throughout the season. Please find attached a copy of the roster. Managers please distribute and discuss at training on Wednesday Night. Registration Forms and Transfer Forms Please find attached the 2006 Registration Form, please complete and give them to your team manager at training this Wednesday. You will not be allowed to take the field unless you have completed a current registration form. Transfer forms are to be completed by anyone who has previously played for another Gaelic Football Club in Australia, Ireland or elsewhere in the world. If you do not complete a transfer form prior to playing your first game you may face up to 12 months suspension from the GAA in Ireland (suspended worldwide). Coaches/Managers please make sure you have spare copies at training and at games. A limited supply will be available at the QGFA bar if you run out. Fees Don't forget that you will not be able to play on Sunday unless you have paid the $40 deposit on your fees. The total amount of fees to be paid is $130 for the full season. Please see your team managers or treasurer Nathan Ram for payment at training on Wednesday night or on Sunday. Socks Please see me at training on Wednesday night if you would like to buy your Easts socks for Sunday's first game. They are $6 per pair. See you all at training.
