Easts Celts Gaelic Football Club
Easts Celts Gaelic Football Club -
Update Tuesday 30th August

Hi Everyone,

It was a sad weekend with the Celts suffering two losses in the Quarter Finals, but we didn't go down without a fight and we didn't get through the season without the traditional Celts mateship and pride for our club. Next season is a whole new challenge and I know Easts are up for it.

But until then there are heaps of things happening!

The Latest Draw including this weekends games.

Officials Required for this Sunday the 4th of September
We require 6 guys and 6 girls to official games on Sunday in the Quarter Finals. The game times are:
11.30am - Easts Ladies
3.15pm - Easts Men
Please let me know ASAP if you are able to help out.

Game of Touch - Next Wednesday the 7th September
Seeing as we're still paying for the training grounds until the end of the Gaelic Season, we thought we'd still use the field and the lights for a friendly game of touch. (Mixed Guys and Girls). And besides what else do we do on a Wednesday Night?????

Wednesday the 7th of September - 6.30 PM - Bulimba Street, Bulimba.

Please e-mail me if you are interested and I will confirm by group e-mail by the end of the week.

Presentation Night
Keep your diary's free for mid October for our Trophy Presentation Night. More details to come shortly.

Players Player Awards
If you didn't put in your players player awards on Sunday please e-mail me with your nomination ASAP. The players player award is chosen by each player on the team, this is a person you feel that is not only a good player but who demonstrates exceptional team leadership, sportsmanship and consistency.

Australasian Games - October 4 - 9
A few people have expressed interest in helping out during the Australasian Games. If you are interested in helping out please e-mail me what days and what times you are available and what type of jobs you are interested in doing.

There are a range of tasks that we need volunteers for, some of those tasks include general cleaning, kitchen, bar, gate entry fee collecting, scoreboard, water running, state liasons, match report writing, programme selling, merchandise sales, ticket sales, refereeing, goal and line umpires.

Volunteers are desperately needed to help make the 2005 Gaelic Games a success.

Cheers
Ronnie
