Shane Mc Kenna with the Australasian Championship trophy
Congratulations to Shane Mc Kenna who made a big impact in the Queensland Mens first ever interstate championship win with a personal tally of 0-40 points and who also got picked for the Australasian team. We wish Shane all the best for the future.

The 2010 Easts Presentation Dinner was held at the Irish Club in Brisbane, and with more than 50 people attending it was a successful night for the club.
Among the awards presented were Best & Fairest winners Donie Bowe (Seniors) and Roisin McEvoy (Women), and Runner Up Best & Fairest winners Shane McKenna (Seniors), and Nat Connor (Women) who also won the prestigious Easts Club Member of the Year award.

Easts mens team in their new playing strip for 2010

Please be advised that a memorial mass will be held for Nicholas Carpenter on Friday 21 May 2010 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 28 Clewley St, Corinda from 10am.
Please no flowers at Family's request, however you can donate to the Palliative Care Centre, that looked after Nicholas before he went to Ireland, details will be available at the Church, Refreshments will be at the Carpenter Home after Mass.

2010 QGFA Summer Draw - Men's Competition
2010 QGFA Summer Draw - Women's Competition
Game Fee is $20/night
9-a-side per team
Games are 30 mintues duration - swap ends after 15 mintues (no half time break)
Please ensure teams are available at allocated time, as game will start even if teams are not ready.
Teams are to provide one goal umpire for the game they are participating in
Positions on ladder with be determined by Win = 2 pt Draw = 1 pt and For/Against

Easts will be having a mixed football game & sausage sizzle on Sunday, 24th January starting at 4pm at Gaelic Park, 308 Bowhill Road, Willawong.
